A small but cozy town, Brodhead lies in the northwest section of Rockcastle County about 10 minutes drive from the county seat of Mt. Vernon. With a population of approximately 800, Brodhead is a proud community known for the annual Little World's Fair and old fashioned values. Their annual downtown Christmas displays are always a beautiful sight.
Brodhead is located at the headwaters of the Dix River on highway 150.
