RCIDA EXPANDS ROCKCASTLE BUSINESS PARK SOUTH
Over the course of the last 120 days, the RCIDA has worked with local
property owners with land adjacent to the Rockcastle Business Park South to
expand the development by another 20 acres. Plans for the improvement of the
park include:
-A new access road which will join HWY 150 and help with traffic flow into
and out of the park for SOURCECORP BPS’s new facility and B&H Tool, an
existing company within the development.
-Lighting which will run down the new access road, out onto HWY 150 up to
HWY 461 toward I-75 and back through the Rockcastle Business Park NORTH.
-Monument signage at the entrance to the development.
-A comprehensive landscape plan which reflects plant materials which are
natural to the area and enhances the quality of the overall development.
-A revised master land use plan for the development identifying specific
site for specific types of companies which might be interested in locating
in the development.
The RCIDA Board and consultant Jim Holton has worked closely with MSE
Architects and Engineers from Lexington, Kentucky on both the development of
the park and the current design and construction of the SOURCECORP BPS
facilities.
