The district has been influenced by its participation with Effective Schools, The Southern Regional Education Board, The National Alliance for Restructuring Education, The Appalachian Rural Systemic Initiative and The Kentucky Leadership Academy.

We have aggressively pursued academic partnerships with institutions of higher education including Berea College, Eastern Kentucky University, Somerset Community College and The University of Kentucky.
